Hello
My name is Adam! I’m a creative thinker, all-around entertainer, and writer of books, plays, music, screenplays, TV shows, and poetry. At most meetings, you will see me drinking a Dr Pepper or an iced americano. And as a Gilmore Girls aficionado, I will always be ready to discuss anything related to Stars Hollow.
My Story
My earliest memory in life is being brought to rehearsals for The Music Man. My family was heavily involved in community theater and that cultivated a love for artistic expression. I'm originally from Chantilly, Virginia where I got my start as a two-time statewide one act playwriting competition winner in high school with SPARC New Voices. While in undergrad at Christopher Newport University, I worked with Not Just Dance, a local theatrical arts studio, to create one act plays for actors aged 5 through 12. Moving into my graduate program at Savannah College of Art and Design, I was the co-head writer of their student-led full production sitcom, Tours & Attractions. I also held numerous workshops showcasing new plays and pilot episodes. I am an avid board gamer and reader. Current obsessions include the Star Wars Deck Building Game and Dune. I am also a diehard Washington Capitals fan and had the dream of a lifetime working for the Savannah Ghost Pirates as an In-game Arena Co-Host and PA Announcer.

In 2021, my family lost my grandfather, Joseph, to a battle against Parkinson's and cancer. I made a promise to my grandmother that I would write as Adam Joseph LeKang to always have him with us.
